Chris is a licensed mortgage broker in Ontario and a Dealing Representative (Exempt Market Dealer) with Waverley Corporate Financial Services Ltd., registered in both Ontario and British Columbia. He earned his mutual funds license in 1993 and completed the CSI Branch Compliance Officer course in 2002.
Since 2013, Mr. Cheng has served as Chief Operating Officer of RESCO Mortgage Investment Corporation, where he is also an officer of both the Asset Manager and the Mortgage Administrator.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Cheng spent nearly two decades with TD Canada Trust (1992–2011), holding senior leadership roles including Director of TD Mutual Funds, Branch Manager, and District Vice-President for the Greater Toronto Area.
Mr. Cheng holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Biology, 1989) and a Bachelor of Arts degree (Economics, 1991) from the University of Windsor.
